True Grit
The Coen brothers offer us a fantastic ride in the West. Inviting as wire (or girl) a charming girl driver ( Hailee Steinfeld first role perfectly mastered, bravo! ), a sort of Alice in westerns, a child who is fearless and above all a language glib coupled with a definite character, in short, a fierce desire: to find and punish the murderer of his father! Tumbling down in this little candle emerging from the west, our young Mattie attend immediately to a triple hanging, expeditious justice and macabre wink of the two brothers to the Indian population. Raw figures, the kind hospitality, a penny saved is a penny, to the businessman, not too honorable to be a little rascal, young Mattie manages its affairs with any women for mastery if little lady .
His goal, and nothing will stop it, embarking on the trail of the murderer and commit it to the best of the best. In this case the person whose record is so, so he finds himself on trial accused of an overly expeditious justice, too swift on the trigger, as evidenced by the bag. Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges , more than ever pooch) the man who painted niche among ducks in the back room of the Asian service. This old pirate, but dreaded blind, an old coyote also gleefully bathes in the whiskey leaves finally convince a substantial premium and the determination of the damsel. This did not prevent the early morning to take his word unlike the road alone, chasing a criminal in the west of all hazards is not the case of a girl.
But it has guts and quick to catch them, the old drunk and the younger Marshall's store LaBœuf (a caricature, this Texas ranger, magnificently portrayed by Matt Damon ,, boots with spurs gleaming up his tiny Indian horse, an appaloosa, have no other choice but to embark on the trail of "desesperado!
So begins an epic cavalcade made of strange encounters, a hanged man, a strange collector of corpses, a bear horse, not amazing, and of course all a bunch of thugs ... the bare minimum to let the Coen it to their heart's delight, and we also tearing at our headquarters for a start they have the secret, though obviously trash!
All delivered in huge pans, also gives way to dark corners, nights in the West are not always easy, it's better not to sleep with one eye!
This piece will not come in the pantheon of Coen brothers , their collaboration with Jeff Bridges are still and always retain the unforgettable "The Big Lebowski " but anyway we will celebrate worthily this incursion into the western, yet they stand on the board room of America, through what its most true and living ... its occupants, past and contemporary!

CritiKat.Com "... noted in passing that the three protagonists (Hailee Steinfeld, Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon) to honor their contracts and fit perfectly phrasing peculiar to the limit of comprehensible two brothers. But this is not enough to maintain a rhythm, to interest the eye that focuses on fighting players, and ear, saturated with music worthy of the worst pieces of bravery eastwoodiens. Sure of its atmosphere, True Grit neglects human secondary decor, his adventures and his fight ....
